Why Why Why??!!!!!!!

assalamualaikum you....

Why half the world doesn't have bank accounts??
Now, as a banking student I want to share some info with all of u why this happen...
In the U.S., bank accounts are nearly ubiquitous, with almost 90 percent of adults having formal accounts. But in poor countries, only a quarter of people report having have accounts. All told, more than 2.5 billion adults around the world—about half—are unbanked, according to a new World Bank data project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and based on Gallup polling in 148 countries. The World Bank launched the Global Financial Inclusion initiative, which it calls Global Findex for short, with both a database and a white paper on the new stats.
A leading reason for the disparity between rich and poor countries is both dispiritedly intractable and painfully obvious: poverty itself. Two-thirds of people without accounts said they simply don’t have enough money to use a bank. The data, though, show some less daunting problems to tackle. People said financial institutions are too far away and too expensive to use. In some regions, including Latin America, people said the institutions required too much documentation. The white paper says fully 35 percent of the unbanked report barriers that are solvable through public policy.
They pointed to success of models that break down distance and costs, as in Sub-Saharan Africa, where 16 percent of adults said they had used a mobile phone to pay bills or send or receive money in the past year. (The World Bank project doesn’t consider mobile money to be a formal bank account; they reserve that definition for accounts at a bank, credit union, cooperative, post office, or microfinance institution.) In Kenya, two-thirds of adults said they received payments on their phone, likely because of the inroads the telecom company Safaricom has made with its M-PESA offering, which transform mobile phones into virtual wallets.

ok...thats all for today..heeee
tq..daaa

"Hints for Life" ..:)

Assalamualaikum sume..:)

  • a sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that is was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

  • The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on aporch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

  • It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

  • Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

  • A careless word may kind may heal and bless. e strife. A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may heal and bless.

  • Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

hi guys...

ha if you want to know how the song was, u can find it by yourself..ngeee:)

wonderful life by Estelle

What makes my day slow down
Watching the rain and now I'm not on time
I'm 'bout to lay down and cry
Boss on the other line
Had a fight with my man, cause he
Swears I'm lying to him constantly
Causing drama like you won't believe
Just one day, I wanna wake up and say

Hey! I'm winning today
My smile is OK at the end of the line
And I'm fine, no thorns in my side
Somebody remind me, it's a wonderful life
La da da la da
It's a wonderful life
Sing la da da la da
It's a wonderful life

It's not that I never cared
But my position here is just alright
And then they tell me I lost my job
But I won't give up
This just hasn't been my day at all
But I'm about to get this manicure
As my back is up against the wall
I pray one day that I can wake up and say

Hey! I'm winning today
My smile is OK at the end of the line
And I'm fine, no thorns in my side
Somebody remind me, it's a wonderful life
La da da la da
It's a wonderful life
Sing la da da la da
It's a wonderful life

And if you feel how I feel
You know what to do
Sing it with me, come on
La da da la da la da
Singing la da da la da la da
Singing la da da la da la da

Just one day

Hey! I'm winning today
My smile is OK at the end of the line
And I'm fine, no thorns in my side
Somebody remind me, it's a wonderful life
La da da la da
It's a wonderful life
Sing la da da la da
It's a wonderful life
Sing la da da la da
It's a wonderful life
Sing la da da la da
It's a wonderful life
